A planned 4-hour online alcohol server training program for South Carolina on-premises alcohol servers and managers, prepared around SCDOR's English/Spanish, audio, testing, proctoring, reporting, certificate-number, and record-retention requirements.
The course is being prepared for employees who serve alcohol for on-premises consumption at least 10 hours per week and managers who supervise alcohol service. Until approval is issued, students should use only an approved SCDOR-listed program for compliance.
After approval and launch, a student who completes all modules, active time, audio-supported content, knowledge checks, a proctored final test, and a passing score would receive the provider certificate number needed to retrieve the official SCDOR Alcohol Server Certificate through MyDORWAY. The SCDOR certificate is separate from any provider completion record.
